614 <br /> 066 <br /> ••• <br /> PROCLAMATION <br /> for <br /> NATIONAL FAMILY SEXUALITY EDUCATION WEEK <br /> WHEREAS, much of the fundamental education of the <br /> child occurs within the family, parents are <br /> the primary sexuality educators of their <br /> children; <br /> • WHEREAS, parents should be given community support <br /> in fulfilling this vital responsibility; <br /> WHEREAS, parents and potential parents need to be <br /> aware of the resources which provide needed <br /> information to assist them in the sexuality <br /> education of their children; and, <br /> WHEREAS, the purpose and commitment to strengthen <br /> the American family are reflected in <br /> National Family Sexuality Education Week; <br /> THEREFORE, It is hereby proclaimed that October 5 through <br /> ii be designated National Family Sexuality <br /> Education Week.
