Fireman's Relief Funds are locally <br /> administered at the fire district level and provide payments to firemen <br /> in the event of injury, disability or death. <br /> IMPACT: In order ;to make this service available to the firemen of the New Hope <br /> Fire District, a five-member board of trustees needs to be created to <br /> administer this fund. In accordance with State law the board is comprised <br /> of two menbers of the local fire department, two by the County Board of <br /> Commissioners and one by the N. C. Insurance Commissioner. <br /> ( <br /> RECOMMENDATION(S): <br /> Appoint Mr. John Carroll and 'Mr. Neil Tapp. <br />
