NH EREAS, O range County deems it appropriate to meet the special needs <br /> of families with young children by establishing an Orange County <br /> Department <br /> t <br /> of Children's Services �d creating a Children's Council in order to coordi- <br /> nate, <br /> develop and improve child care delivery and parent education and support <br /> services to Orange County's young children and their families; IT IS NOW <br /> THEREFORE ordained and resolved by the Board of County Commissioners of Orange <br /> County, North Carolina as follows: <br /> -' / <br /> ` - <br /> ARTICLE J. CHILDREN'S COUNCIL <br /> SECTION 1. CREATION, NAME, COMPOSITION OF THE COUNCIL. <br /> � ' There 1s hereby created an Orange County Children's Council l cumposed of nine citizens of Orange County. Each member of the Council shall be a <br /> d <br /> County Board resident appointed by the Orange County of Commissioners.
