!4' • . 11' !. <br /> r <br /> , <br /> ORANM COUNTY DEPAPTMMT OF AGING <br /> and <br /> ,;. <br /> f, <br /> TRIANGLE J COUNCIL OF GOVERNMENTS <br /> CONTRACT FOR SOCIAL AND SENIOR CENTER SERVICES <br /> 1 <br /> THIS AGREEMENT, entered into as this 1 day <br /> I <br /> of :Flirty , 1983, by and between Orange County <br /> I <br /> Department on Aging , a unit of Orange County <br /> Government, (hereinafter referred to as the "Agency") and <br /> the Triangle J Council of Governments, (herein-after referred <br /> I <br /> to as "COG") . <br /> WITNESSETH THAT: <br /> WHEREAS, COG desires to engage the Agency to render <br /> certain locial services hereinafter described in connection <br /> with an Undertaking or project (hereinafter referred to as <br /> i <br /> the "Project") which is to be wholly or partially financed <br /> by a grarit from Administration on Aging through NC <br /> ._ <br /> Division of Aging (hereinafter, along with the appropriate <br /> auditing agency of the entity making such grant, referred to <br /> as the "concerned Funding Agency or Agencies") , said grant <br /> being (hereinafter referred to as the "Grant Contract" and <br /> identifi9ld as Contract for Social and Sen Ctr Svcs and <br /> WHE'kEAS, the Agency desires to render such services in <br /> connection with the Project: <br /> NOW THEREFORE, in consideration of the premises, and <br /> the mutual convenants and agreements hereinafter contained, <br /> the parties hereto agree as follows: <br /> 1. Employment of the Agency. COG hereby agrees to <br /> engage the Agency and the Agency hereby agrees to perform <br /> the services hereinafter set forth in accordance with the <br /> terms and conditions contained herein. <br /> 2. Local Support. In accepting this contract providing <br /> for $ 63, 888_ of federal funds and 3,953 of <br /> __- <br /> state funds, the Agency agrees to provide not less than <br /> $ 22,923 of acceptable non-federal cash and $ 15,563 <br /> acceptable in-kind contributions. <br />
