<br /> 2.19 Plumbing shall mean and include all of the following facilities and
<br /> equipment: gas pipes, gas burning equipment, water pipes, mechanical garbage
<br /> disposal units (mechanical sink grinders), sewage disposal pipes, water closets,
<br /> sinks, installed dishwashers, laboratories, bathtubs, shower baths, installed clothes
<br /> washing machines, catch basins, drains, vents and any other similar fixtures,
<br /> together with all connections to water, sewer or gas lines.
<br /> 2.20 Premises shall mean the dwelling, its appurtenant structures, and so
<br /> much of the adjoining and surrounding land as is used or is reasonable or
<br /> necessary for its use as a habitation for human occupants.
<br /> 2.21 Public Authority shall mean the Orange County Housing Authority or
<br /> any officer who is in charge of any department or branch of the government of
<br /> Orange County or the State of North Carolina relating to health, fire, building
<br /> regulations or'other activities concerning dwellings in the County.
<br /> 2.22 Renter Occupied shall mean occupied by a person other than the
<br /> owner pursuant to an oral or writen agreement between the owner and the
<br /> occupant to let the premises.
<br /> 2.23 Rooming House shall mean any dwelling, or that part of any dwelling
<br /> containing one or more rooming units, in which space is let by the owner or
<br /> operator to three or more persons who are not related by blood, adoption, or
<br /> marriage to the owner or operator.
<br /> 2.24 Rooming Unit shall mean any room or group of rooms forming a single
<br /> habitable unit! used or intended to be used for living and sleeping, but not for
<br /> cooking, eating, or bathing purposes.
<br /> 2.25 Rubbish shall mean combustible and non-combustible waste material,
<br /> except garbage, and the term shall inelude the residue from the burning of wood,
<br /> coal, coke and other combustible material, cartons and boxes, tree branches, yard
<br /> trimmings and other large discarded articles,
<br /> 2.26 Supplied shall mean paid for, furnished, or provided by, or under the
<br /> control of, the owner or operator.
<br /> 2.27 Temporary Housing shall mean any tent, trailer or other structure used
<br /> for human shelter which is designed to be transportable and which is not attached
<br /> to the ground, to another structure, or to any utilities system on the same
<br /> premises for more than thirty consecutive days.
<br /> 2.28 Unfit for Human Habitation shall mean that conditions exist in a
<br /> dwelling, dwelling unit, rooming house or rooming unit which violate or do not
<br /> comply with one or more of the minimum housing standards established by this
<br /> ordinance.
<br /> 2.29 Words Having Certain Meaning. Whenever the words "dwelling,
<br /> dwelling unit, rooming house, rooming unit, premises" are used in this ordinance
<br /> they shall be construed as though they were followed by the words "any part
<br /> thereof."
