Rooks,, Town of Chapel Hill Development Coordinator <br /> SUBJ: Proposed Jzoning of Goforth Properties; Tax Map 11, Lot 15 <br /> DATE: November 1J,, 1983 <br /> Our staff has reviewed this proposal ihd recommends that the property net be <br /> rezoned without the concurrent consideration of a Planned Development. <br /> Our principal concerns are with access and the suitability of the proposal, <br /> given the proximi* to T-40: We feel that it is necessary that at least two <br /> means of access be provided, and we would prefer that both means be to Weaver <br /> Dairy Road, in order to avoid conflicts with the traffic carrying capacity of <br /> NC 86 and its i-4C interchange. <br /> We recommend that 'development of this property be by Meant of a planned <br /> development by whiich the County Commissioners could assure that adequate and <br /> appropriate access is provided based on the particular design of the development <br /> and that adequate uffering provided for the development from 1-40. <br />
