Xi <br /> NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED AMENDMENTS <br /> TO THE LAND USE PLAN OF ORANGE COUNTY, NORTH CAROLINA <br /> Pursuant to the requirements of the General Statutes of North Carolina <br /> Chapter 153A1 Section 323 and Section 343, notice is hereby given that a <br /> public hearing will be held in the Superior Courtroom of the Orange County <br /> Courthouse,106 East Margaret Lane, Hillsborough, N.C., on Monday, November <br /> 28, 1983, at 7:30 p.m. for the purpose of giving all interested citizens an <br /> opportunity to speak for or against the adoption of proposed amendments to <br /> the Orange County Land Use Plan. <br /> The amendments under consideration are as follows: <br /> The proplosed area plan for the West Orange Area Study, as shown on the <br /> map below. The proposed area plan is on display for public review in the <br /> offices of the Orange county Planning Department, Orange County Courthouse, <br /> 3.3 LAND USE PLAN CATEGORIES <br /> CONSERVATION Public Interest Area <br /> . Water Supply Watershed: <br /> Water Quality Critical Area <br /> LAND USE PLAN CATEGORY DESCRIPTIONS <br /> WATER QUALITY CRITICAL AREA - Land draining directly to existing <br /> or future water supply impoundments by overland flow and inter- <br /> flow, called shorelands, and draining into the main channels of <br /> trunk stream emptying into the impoundments. <br /> 3.4 LOCATION CRITERIA <br /> Locational Criteria and Evaluation By Land Use Plan Category <br /> PLAN CATEGORY: WATER QUALITY CRITICAL AREA <br /> Land.
