There is also a need to insulate that building to reduce <br /> energy costs. The polyurethane roofing system which places a minimum <br /> 1" insulation covered by a water proof plastic membrane on the roof <br /> would solve both these problems at a considerable savings over the <br /> traditidinal built up roof. With the knowledge that only limited funds <br /> were available for this project, bids were solicited for 3 phases of <br /> roof inStallation, with Phase I and Phase II covering most of the problem <br /> areas. 'Attached you will find the bid results for all three phases of the <br /> praject. <br /> IMPACT: $31,000.00 has been budgeted for this project in the capital improvements <br /> account' Awarding of Phase I & 11 to the low bidder would result in <br /> covering 12,900 sq. ft. of the 35,500 sq. ft. roof. <br />
