APPRMAT, OF (11TUTES <br /> No Minutes were approved. <br /> le D. 1251 FOR DFCIsION <br /> Dl. 1 : Elizabeth Walters presented a <br /> proclamation explaining that the theme for this year is "Partners in <br /> Progress--People Helping People". Don Willhoit moved, Ben Lloyd seconded, <br /> the proclamtion. VOTE: Ayes; 5 <br /> D2. Parmon Young: (See permanent agenda file for a copy of the Land <br /> Use Plan) Susan Smith Presented background, Commissioner Marshall moved <br /> approval of the proposed changes to the Land Use Plan with the assurance that <br /> if the Town of Hillsborough wished to propose specific amendments relating to <br /> the ambience of Historic Hillsborough, that this Board would remain open to <br /> making such amendments; Commissioner Whitted seconded. VCTE: Ayes; 5. <br /> Commissioner Willhoit moved, Commissioner Marshall seconded that the <br /> staff prepare recommendation on a new name for the area. VOTE: Ayes; 5. <br /> D3. Mildwood Section II Preliminary Plan : Susan Smith made the <br /> presentation. Commissioner Lloyd moved; Commissioner Walker seconded <br /> approval of the Planning Board recommendations (see page for these <br /> recommendations) with the developer's understanding that approval is <br /> contingent on approval of the state for water lines. Commissioner Walker moved, <br /> Commissioner Lloyd seconded the approval of the preliminary plan for the <br /> property of Glenn T. Sykes, Jr. and Carolyn Lindell with a thirty foot <br /> drainage easement shown on Lot 5. VOTE: Ayes; 5 <br /> D5. Tloyd Farm subdivision_Preliminary P1 U1 : Commissioner Walker <br /> moved, Commissioner Lloyd seconded approval of the preliminary plan for Lloyd <br /> Farm subdivision with the following condition: <br /> Private road will be built to Class B standards with a note on plat <br /> that lots 1 and 2 which should be designated lots A and B have access onto SR <br /> 1103 only.
