MargaretLane Hillsborough, North Carolina 27278 RE: Northern Fairview Community Park , OCO 8001 Dear Albert: As you are aware, on September 8, 1983, at 2:00 P.M. , we opened bids received for the clearing, grading, and other improvements for the site of the Northern Fairview Community Park. Bob Glover Grading Company of High Point was the successful low bidder. The attached official bid tabulation itemizes all the unit and lump silm prices bid by each of the three bidders. ' 1 Based upon our discussions this morning, we recommend that Item No. 1, Public Works Road, notibe included in this contract; but be advertised and awarded : as a separate contract. We feel that the road repairs and resurfacing can be done for some $6000 lees than the amount bid by Bob Glover Grading Company for that work. f ■ We further recommend that a construction contract in the amount of $150,415.00 for all the work contained in Items 2 through 7, inclusive, of the Proposal, 1 be awarded to Bob Glover Grading Company of High Point. 1 . The proposed budget, based upon funds allocated for this work, is as follows: .
