Alternative space <br /> could be arranged for the Office in the Old Police Building provided <br /> renovation could be done on the second floor. What served previously <br /> as a courtroom could be partitioned to provide the 1200 feet needed. <br /> Cost of partition doors, carpet, point, etc. , would amount to $3,500 <br /> to $4,000 if County Buildings crew does the work. Cost thereafter <br /> would be $4.00 per foot per year. <br /> IMPACT: $10,000 was allocated in the budget for the Public Defender's Office and <br /> furnitore.
