<br /> As of this time, we have not received notification that this program
<br /> affected the name of a secondary road in any of the counties previously
<br /> approved or with 'pending approval under the Governor's Highway Safety Program.
<br /> In order for the pfficial name of a secondary road to be changed, we must
<br /> be furnished the road number, name requested, and a requesting resolution
<br /> from a County Board of Commissioners. Please obtain the above information
<br /> and send it to this office. The counties already approved for road name
<br /> signs should be contacted and a list of any changes (along with a resolution)
<br /> obtained.. Name change requests on roads other than secondary are administered
<br /> by Mr. T. L. Waters, Manager of Planning and Research. We would handle future
<br /> requests in a similar manner. Please inform the County Managers that we are
<br /> attempting to clarify our records and bring them up-to-date.
