• 019 <br /> ir1 <br /> frn <br /> 47- t - <br /> Planning Board member Pilkey inquired if the houses in the R-5 <br /> rezcxiing would contain the same footage as those in Wildwood <br /> Phase Land inquired if a road through the section would <br /> Connect NC 86 and Old NC 86 making two access roads onto NC 86. <br /> McAdams responded the houses would be 950 square feet and that a <br /> connecting road was not under his client's control. He added <br /> they had not yet considered if they would oppose extending the <br /> access roads to the property line. Pilkey clarified therm-would <br /> be two acs roads onto NC 86. McAdams rasped affirmatively. <br /> Hazel Lansford resideat of the area, expressed concerns about <br /> increasing urbanization., the tax base, devaluation of property, <br /> high taxes, neighborhood protection and loss of the area's <br /> identity. She noted other area residents in the audience. She <br /> *Untied expressing concerns about school redistricting and <br /> traffic, noting this was a high risk area and suggesting the in- <br /> stallment of traffic lights. Mrs. Lansford continaed explaining <br /> she was satisfied with well water, but did not want to be forced <br /> to pay for a water availability charge. She did not express <br /> opposition to sewer services. Lansford continued expressing con- <br /> derns about "dumping", lack of greenboxes, traffic to site behind <br /> eXisting hams and her inability to obtain access via the purchase <br /> of 2/10 of an acre from her neighbor which would result in her <br /> n‘ighbor's lot being too small. <br /> era were no further ccnunnts fran the audience. <br /> The public hearing was adjourned. <br /> 1 <br />
