Prepare complete construction plans and specifications and provid <br /> - I <br /> sufficient documents required for competitive bidding of any proj <br /> g. Work closely with the appropriate regulatory agencies and assist <br /> I securing approval of plans and specifications in an expeditious <br /> . manner. <br /> 18. Provide assistance in advertising for bids, receiving bids , and <br /> recommending award of contracts. <br /> 4. Schedule and conduct pre-construction conferences. <br /> 5. Performance of laboratory tests and any specialized soils testing, <br /> hydraulic evaluations or other studies which are deemed necessary. <br /> Although the cost of such tests and/or studies shall be borne by t <br /> County, prior written approval shall be secured before such specia <br /> tests or studies are performed. <br /> 51. Performance of any miscellaneous design work not specifically <br /> I covered in planned project improvements. <br /> 71i. Preparation of any special documents or maps including but not <br /> limited to those necessary for filing purposes or those which may <br /> required as related to water rights. <br /> 8.
