Duties of the Private Industry Council <br /> The Council shall have such duties as shall be prescribed <br /> in a memorandum of understanding which shall be agreed upon by the <br /> Council and the consortium and which shall be consistent with the <br /> Act and regulations incident thereto. <br /> 10. Technical Staff for the Private Industry Council <br /> The administrative unit shall provide professional, tech- <br /> nical, and clerical staff to serve the Council. <br /> 1 <br /> 11. Duration of Agreement <br /> This Agreement shall be for a period of one year from <br /> 1983, through , 1984 . <br /> 12 . Financing of Program <br /> It is anticipated that the funding necessary to implement <br /> this Contract, including the payment for technical staff services <br /> provided in Section 10 hereof, shall be derived from Federal monies <br /> received through State grants and other Congressional appropria- <br /> tions incident to the Act and amendments thereto. In the event. <br /> that it becomes necessary for the parties hereto to appropriate <br /> 1 <br /> additional funds for the purpose of implementing this Contract, each <br /> of the parties will appropriate its pro rata share according to the <br /> amount allocated by the State of North Carolina for that County from <br /> State and Federal funds received by the Consortium under this Con- <br /> tract. Provided, however, in the event any party to this Contract <br /> shall give written notice of termination as provided by Section 15 <br /> herein, the obligation of appropriating additional funds as set <br /> forth in this Section shall terminate upon the giving of such written <br /> notice. <br /> -8- <br />
