SECTION V. SCHOOL CURRENT EXPENSE: There,js. hereby allocated a lump sum of $3,004,749 for Chapel <br /> City Schools and $2,971;584 for Orange County Schools, for the purpose of supporting current expense. <br /> SECTION VI. SCHOOLS CAPITAL OUTLAY: There.is hereby allocated $350,000 for Chapel Hill-Carrboro <br /> $450,000 for Orange County Schools, to be used to make capital outlay expenditures. <br /> SECTION VII. DOG LICENSE: A license costing $4.00 is required for all dogs. <br /> SECTION VIII. SCHEDULE B LICENSE: In accordance with Schedule B of the Revenue Act (Article 2, Ch <br /> N. C. State Statutes) and any other section of the General Statutes so permitting, there are hereby levi <br /> license taxes in the maximum amount permitted on businesses, trades, occupations, or professional which <br /> entitled to tax. <br /> SECTION IX: BUDGET CONTROL: The Board of Commissioners, in approving this budget, has utilized to <br /> possible its revenue sources. Over collections of revenue or. unanticipated revenue sources cannot be exi <br /> ize during the year. It is, therefore, of utmost importance, and the County Manager is hereby directed, <br /> to insure that the budget as fixed herein is lived within. <br /> General Statutes of the State of North Carolina provide for budgetary control measures to exist bet <br /> Public School System. The Board of Commissioners hereby directs the following measures for budget admin. <br /> review: <br /> Per General Statute 115-429 (c) the Board of Education shall supply copy of its final budget (once <br /> audit, monthly financial reports, copies of all budget amendments.to the Board of Commissioners as i <br /> ment and use of local monies granted to the Board of Education by the Board of Commissioners. <br /> SECTION XII. TRANSFER OF FUNDS BETWEEN OBJECT ACCOUNTS: The County Manager is authorized to transf <br /> an appropriation in accordance with provisions of the.Local Government Budyet_and Fisca_LContr_o1.Act,_Sec <br /> ______ p"ro_vided--that-the--foi l owl n i <br /> g-gudeiines-are-sattsfted --- <br /> 1. The transfer involves receipt and appropriation of grant funds or contracts which have been appr <br /> Board action involving acceptance of the grant or award of the contract, or <br /> 2. The transfer is for the purpose of more appropriate accounting methods and does not involve a ch <br /> purpose for which the funds are to be spent. <br /> Any such transfers shall be reported to the Board of Commissioners at its next regular meeting and shall I <br /> the minutes. <br />
