When access to a minor subdivision is proposed <br /> via a pre-existing, platted, private road, and <br /> where the private road provides access to lots <br /> in addition to the lot(s) created by the proposed <br /> minor subdivision, the Planning Board may recom- <br /> mend a variance, pursuant to subsections VII-A to <br /> -D of this ordinance, from the right-of-way and <br /> maintenance requirements of subsection IV-B-3-e <br /> of this ordinance. All variances shall be granted <br /> in accordance with Section VII of this ordinance. <br /> IV - B - 3 - c - 5. Offsets - Unless exception is granted as pro- <br /> vided in Section VII herein, an offset in the <br /> alignment of a street across an intersection <br /> shall not be permitted. <br /> IV - 8 - 3 - c •- 10. Reserve Strips - Unless exception is granted <br /> as provided in Section VII herein, reserve <br /> strips controlling access to streets shall <br /> not be approved. <br /> IMPACT:0n October 4, 1982 the Variance Section was deleted from the Subdivision Regulations. <br /> The deletion of the above sections which refer to the Variance Section will clarify <br /> the Ordiance. <br /> RECOMMENDATION: The Plarininn Fn=,. <br />
