This funding level would represent an increase in the current expense <br /> for Orange County Schools of$4,182,015. <br /> Orange County Schools Capital Investment Plan projects for FY2017-18 totals $3,103,689 with <br /> a 5-Year total of$47,541,561. <br /> During tonight's presentation, each school system will share their FY2017-18 budgets and <br /> Capital Investment Plans with the Board of County Commissioners. <br /> FINANCIAL IMPACT: There is no financial impact to receive the School systems' FY2017-18 <br /> Budget requests and Capital Investment Plans. <br /> SOCIAL JUSTICE IMPACT: There are no Social Justice Goal impacts associated with this <br /> item. <br /> RECOMMENDATION(S): The Manager recommends that the Board discuss the issues noted <br /> and provide direction to staff, as appropriate. <br />
