— ,7" • <br /> ,hits <br /> 42.6 <br /> c - <br /> • <br /> Two-Way Traffic <br /> Private Roads shall provide for two-way traffic in order to prevent conflict <br /> of vehicles meeting head-on. Too-way traffic can be accomplished by widening the <br /> travelway at prescrZed locations to allow vehicles to pass or to pull over and <br /> stop while another vehicle passes. <br /> Grade <br /> The grade of the road should be between 3 and 12 per cent and shall not '- <br /> exceed 18% because of the difficulty of operating vehicles on such a <br /> steep road and the high potential for erosion of the travelway and ditches. <br /> Where possible, the road should be ccnstructed along the contour of the land <br /> to avoid steep grades., <br /> Intersection with Public Road <br /> • <br /> The intersection of the Private Road with the existing public road shall <br /> permit a safe entrance and exit. Adequate sight distances alon3the public road <br /> shall be provided by choosing a good location for the right-of-way and clearing <br /> sight triangles when building the road. <br /> I , <br /> The intersection of a Private Road with a public road must provide an adequate <br /> place for cars to stop before entering the public road.
