Box 207 <br /> Chapel Hill, N.C. 27514 <br /> Dear John; <br /> I have the following comments concerning the submission of an application by <br /> ' Buck Mountain for a Class A Special use Permit for a general aviation airport. <br /> (1) Since the request involves additional uses, and a special use permit is <br /> site specific in riature, you should document on your site plan the size, location, <br /> and area of those uses which you propose on the airport property. You should also . <br /> show on the site pilan as much documentation as you can of the project meeting the <br /> requirements of the Zoning Ordinance; i.e., runway layout, approach zones, isosonic <br /> contours, etc. This documentation should reflect your specific needs; i.e., 1000- <br /> 1500 foot approach zone. <br /> (2) You may incorporate in this application, by specific list those items <br /> previously submitted and entered as evidence. <br /> (3) A letter from the Orange Grove Fire Department addressing their concern <br /> about response tine would aid the discussion of the imposed condition of access to <br /> Tear Road. <br /> For your inf. lation, the following is a proposed schedule of reconsideration <br /> of this request. <br /> April 15, 198 - Deadline for submittal of application materials - <br /> May 4, 1983 - Advertise request in Chapel Hill News and Durham Herald ' <br /> May 4, 1983 - Mail certified letters to adjacent pii*erty owners and <br /> post property <br /> May 13, 1983 F Second notice to newspapers <br /> May 16, 1983 - Preliminary presentation to Planning Board <br /> May 23, 1983 - Public Hearing <br /> June 20, 1983 - Planning Board Recommendation <br />
