On September 7 , 1982 the Orange County Board of Commissioners !;,72, <br /> found that Buck Mountain Development had met the minimum requirn- <br /> menty for the issuance of a Class A Special Use Permit , however <br /> the Board al So felt that several additional conditions should <br /> also be impu w6 in the approval to assure that the development <br /> would protect the public health , safety and general welfare. <br /> One of the conditions was : <br /> -r: The appllcant shall own or control the height of objects <br /> in the area t each and of the runway which is know as the approach- <br /> ' <br /> departure zorie. The approach-departure zone begins 200^ from the t; <br /> end of the rdnway and rises at a 20 , 1 slope to a height of 250^ at <br /> a distance of 5000' . The zone is 500' in width at its begYning <br /> and 2000' in width at its end . The easement rights negotiated with <br /> each property owner must specify that the developer can control the <br /> heights of objects within the approach-departure zone.
