It is the purpose <br /> of this ordinance to supplement State law by providing a procedure <br /> for the enforcement of laws requiring dogs to wear a privilege license <br /> tag. <br /> It shall be the duty of the Orange County Tax DeparLaient during ' <br /> the tax listing period, to furnish all persons listing dogs a privi- <br /> lege tax tag for each dog listed. The tag shall indicate the year <br /> for which the iicense has been issued. The tag shall display an <br /> identification number and a record is to be kept of the person to whom <br /> the tax has been mailed or otherwise delivered. <br /> In addition to all other penalties prescribed by law, a dog <br /> is subject to impoundment in accordance with the provisions of this <br /> ordinance if the dog is found not to be wearing a currently valid <br /> dog privilege tax tag and rabies tag. <br /> It shall be unlawful for any person to use for a dog a license <br /> or a vaccination tag issued for any other dog. <br /> It shall al o be unlawful for any dog owner moving into Orange <br /> F <br /> County with a dog to fail to obtain a valid rabies tag and dog <br /> privilege tag for each dog owner within thirty (30) days of residence <br /> in the county.
