The <br /> inspection reports were modified as discussed at the May 2 meeting. Howeve <br /> the Director believes that insomuch as the serval is left unattended during <br /> the dayl and person(s) or other animal(s) could come up to the primary en- <br /> closure and reach in or poke an object into the enclosure if there is no <br /> secondary restraint. Therefore, the Director recommends that a four to five <br /> foot fence of moderate cost construction, but with a locking gate be <br /> I <br /> constructed 6 feet out from the primary enclosure as a barrier. <br /> Need: Owners can not adequately proceed to construct qualified, safe enclosures <br /> until the caging standards are adopted.
