0 0 <br /> ORANGE COUNTY <br /> THE SENIOR CITIZENS ' HALL OF FAME <br /> BOARD OF JUDGES <br /> Section 1 - Creation and Composition of the Board <br /> There il hereby created an Orange County Board of Judges <br /> for the Seni6r Citizens ' Hall of Fame , regarded as a committee of <br /> the Orange COunty Senior Citizens Board. The Board of Judges ' <br /> composition Will be Ebree citizens of Orange County , ,two of whom <br /> will be selected from the Senior Citizens Board and one at-large <br /> members . Paid employees , whose primary work is with senior citizens , <br /> can not be appointed as a judge . <br /> All members will be appointed by the Chair of the Senior <br /> Citizens Board and will serve a term of one year (July through <br /> June) and will be eligible for reappointment. <br /> The Board of Judges shall adopt procedures approved by the <br /> Senior Citizens Board for the conduct of its business and will <br /> set regularly scheduled quarterly meetings . The Director of the <br /> Department on Aging will assign staff to assist the Board of <br /> Judges in carrying out its duties . <br /> Section 2 - Powers and Duties of the Board of Judges <br /> Under the guidance of the Senior Citizens Board , the Board <br /> of Judges for the Senior Citizens ' Hall of Fame will be responsible <br /> for the following : <br /> 1) Seleet , but not nominate , one or more deserving person to be <br /> honored with the Tall of Fame Award . <br /> 2) Establish appropriate recognition procedures for each <br /> winner. <br /> 3) Publicize the Hall of Fame Award in the cOmmunity. <br /> 4) Perform other duties , appropriate to recognition of older <br /> adults , as may be requested by the Senior Citizens Board. <br />
