3 <br /> APPLICATION FOR PERMIT TO KEEP WILD ANIMAL(s) 063 <br /> 5. Attach proof l of the applicant's ability to respond in damages for bodily <br /> injury to or death of any person or persons or for damage to property owned <br /> by any other person which may result from the ownership, keeping or mainte- <br /> nance of such animal. Proof of ability to respond in damages shall be given <br /> by filing with the Director a certificate of insurance from an insurance <br /> company authorized to do business in the State stating that the applicant <br /> is, at the time of application, insured by a policy of $100,000 combined <br /> single limit liability for bodily injury and property damage or by posting <br /> with the Director a surety bond conditioned upon the payment of such damages. <br /> Such certifilcate of insurance will provide that no cancellation of the in- <br /> surance or band will be made unless ten days written notice is first given <br /> to the Director. <br /> 6. Attach copies of all State and Federal permits and licenses required for <br /> such animal(s) . <br /> 7. As a condition precedent to the possession or harboring of any wild animal, <br /> the prospective owner or permittee shall have on the premises where the <br /> animal(s) isHkept, sufficient equipment and/or chemicals necessary to tran- <br /> quilize or kill any animal for which the owner or permittee has a permit <br /> to keep. Attach to this application or list below the list of tranquiliz- <br /> ing equipment, chemicals and instruments of destruction required by this <br /> ordinance that you have on the premises . <br /> 8. A permit will not be issued if: <br /> (1) Intentiopal misstatements or misleading statement of fact are in this <br /> application; <br /> (2) When, in the Director's opinion, the animal(s) cannot or will not be <br /> kept or maintained without menacing the safety of any person or pro- <br /> perty; and/or <br /> (3) When, in the Director's opinion, the animal is, will, or cannot be <br /> maintained in a humane manner. <br /> 9.
