„ ;''''.:•••-•'="•-4•7••••7,'-:,..•••=••1•'. ..:••• <br /> 389 <br /> -- -enetrIZ. <br /> • <br /> RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING BOARD <br /> APRIL 25, 1983 <br /> WHERES; the Planning Board agrees in principle with the reccomendationsof the <br /> Water Resources Task Force-concerning the need for restrictions <br /> an minimum lots sizes in potential and existing watersheds <br /> (2.0 acre minimum with storndater management and <br /> 5.0 acre minimum without stormdater management); and <br /> WHEREAS; the current zoning ordinance has no extra protective restrictions as <br /> to minimum lot size in watersheds or potential watershed areas (1 acre <br /> minimum); and, <br /> WHEREAS; the Planning Board forsees a future need in the county for all its <br /> water resources; and <br /> WHEREAS; the Planning Board wishes any error in Judgment concerning future water <br /> resources to be minimized, and feels that a conservative approach to <br /> restriction of building in watersheds is the safest approach; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED; that the Planning Board recommends that the Board of County <br /> CorarLssionera re—examine the need for imposition of larger minimum lot sizes <br /> in watersheds, existing or potential, in accordance with the findings of the <br /> Water Resources Task Force. <br />
