We would appreciate the Commissioners declaring it so locally. Evelyn <br /> Lloyd would be able to attend the Commissioner's meeting on April 19th and <br /> Jerry Robinson will ask the Newspaper to photograph the event. Evelyn could <br /> not arrive until after 8:00FM. <br /> In celebration of this week, we have planned the following: <br /> 1. A poster and essay contest for school children (All schools except Seawell <br /> Elementary declined to participate) . Poster contest winners were selected <br /> and we are planning, with the Principal, Barbara Lawler, .e. special assembly <br /> on "How Your Health Department Works for You" with an award ceremony to the <br /> contest winers. <br /> 2. Staff will participate in the WRAL Health Fair at University Mall on Friday, <br /> April 22. <br /> 3. Slide presentations and talks about the department are being made by var- <br /> ious staff at several sites . <br /> 4. Jerry Robison and Caroline Martens have taped TV shows which will be <br /> shown on. Channel 14, Village Cable , on Tuesday, April 12 and April 19 at <br /> 7:30, 8:3 , 10:30 and 11:30PM. <br /> 5 .
