ORANGE COUNTY RESCUE SQUAD <br /> Orange C unty Rescue Squad provides comprehensive EMS coverage <br /> to Northern Olange County although the squad is available for dispatch <br /> in the entire county if necessary. The Squad maintains a training program <br /> geared to improve the skills and performance of its members in basic <br /> life support, general emergency medical care, and general rescue opera- <br /> tions . Orange County Rescue Squad participates in all Orange County <br /> EMS/North Carolina Memorial Hospital training programs . The rescue <br /> squad maintains an ongoing relationship with North Carolina Memorial <br /> Hospital for (medical direction and guidance, and sponsorship of a rapid- <br /> ly expanding Advanced Life Support program. Orange County Rescue Squad <br /> maintains all state required equipment on all vehicles, also all Orange <br /> County EMS required ALS equipment. <br /> Orange County Rescue Squad has two Paramedics , six EMT-IVs, Thirty- <br /> one EMTs , one M.D. and sixteen EMIs in training for ALS among its member- <br /> ship. <br /> II.
