PIEDMONT AMS, CE SERVICE <br /> Piedmont Ambulance Service can provide service for Orange County <br /> from its pre/sent location for non-emergency transports. Such service <br /> I <br /> is now being' provided to: Hilihaven Orange, Knoll Manor, and Lakeview <br /> Manor Nursin Homes. Five(5) ambulances are equipped to state speci- <br /> fications fo Basic Life Support and staffed with two(2) EMT's at all <br /> times. Piedmont Ambulance Service has EMT's stationed at the base twenty- <br /> four hours ready for immediate dispatch. <br /> All veh cles are equipped with the following radio systems: primary <br /> Communicati Is--465.725 on a shared community repeater, of a primary <br /> dispatch frelquency. Secondary Communications system--all units operate <br /> on 155.280 and 155.340. <br /> Piedmont Ambulance Service answered 2,400 calls in the area last <br /> year. <br /> II. TRIANGLE AMBULANCE AND CONVALESCENT SERVICE, INC. <br /> Triangle Ambulance and Convalescent Service is located and does <br /> business in Durham, North Carolina on Hillsborough Road where five(5) <br /> ambulances are staffed and respond to calls . In Orange County, Triangle <br /> Ambulance currently responds to requests for nonemergency transports <br /> from: Lakevew Manor Nursing Center, Carol Woods Retirement Center, <br />
