Same as for Tigers and Hybrids <br /> except as follows: <br /> (a) Primary enclosures in this category shall all have roofs <br /> or tops. <br /> (b) Sides and roofs or tops of enclosures shall be constructed <br /> of no smaller than eleven and one-half (11$) gauge, steel <br /> chain link fencing secured to steel poles not smaller than <br /> one and one-half (1 ) inches in diameter. <br /> (c) Side fencing shall be buried at least four (4) feet below <br /> ground level or anchored in a concrete floor to prevent <br /> tunneling by the animal (s) . <br /> (4) Safety Doors Required. Same as for Tigers and Hybrids Thereof. <br /> (5) Separatl.on. of Animals. Same as for Tigers and Hybrids Thereof <br /> except fencing may be eleven and one-half (Ili) gauge, steel <br /> chain link fencing. <br /> (6) Other Requirements. Bears and Hybrids Thereof. Animals in this category shall be housed <br /> withirja primary enclosure constructed in accordance with the <br /> follollwing standards: <br /> (1) Minimum Enclosure Area. A primary enclosure for animals in this <br /> category shall contain a minimum of six hundred (600) square <br /> feet of floor or ground area per animal . <br /> (2) Number of Animals Permitted. No more than one (1) male or <br /> oihIe (I) female animal shall be permitted in any one (1 ) enclosure. <br /> (3) Cbnstruction Standards. The primary enclosure shall be constructed <br /> of solid steel bars at least three-fourth (3/4) Inches in diameter, <br /> anchored in the ground in at least thirty (30) inches of concrete. <br />
