Byrnes <br /> Local ' <br /> ST: Orange Absentee Voting <br /> • <br /> A BILL TO BE' ENTITLED AN ACT-TO ALLOW' THE'ORANGE'CCiUNTY BOARD <br /> OF 'ELECTIONS TO ESTABLISH A-SECOND OFFICE TO HANDLE' <br /> ONE-STOP ABSENTEE'VOTING. <br /> The General Asseriibly of North Carolina enacts: <br /> Section ' 1. G.E. 163-227; 2 i s amended 'by adding a <br /> new subsect• or) to read: <br /> " n any case where the county seat of a count <br /> (g� Y Y county, <br /> according t the most recent. decennial Census is nbt the <br /> incorporated municipality with the largest population, and if the voter <br /> records are maintained on electronic data processing equipment, <br /> then the county beard of elections may establish an additional <br /> office in the city with the largest population; which shall <br /> be considered, along with the main office, as `the office-, of <br /> the county beard of elections for the purpose of this section <br /> if on-line access to the voter records is available from the . <br /> additional office." <br /> Sec. 2.
