SOCIAL SERVICES REPORT <br /> Mr. Tom Ward, Social Services Director, presented a report on the Child <br /> Protective Services and Adult Protective Services showing the impact on meeting the <br /> mandated services of the 0S5 of the additionally-funded personnel °in the Protective <br /> Services program; statistics indicate that now the time mandates usually can be met <br /> and indicate that the increase in the percentage of neglect over abuse cases may be <br /> due to the earlier intervention possible with the increased workers. OSS, now meeting <br /> mandated schedules in Child Protective Services is much closer to meeting them in Adult <br /> Protective Services where there is an increased demand for services.
