'Animal Control Officer may make an exception to the requirement of having an <br /> animal in a secure enclosure for transport if the animal is sick or injured <br /> and is sufficI ntly sedated or tranquilized to the point that it could do no <br /> harm to any human h being. <br /> , <br /> V <br /> Soctia`n 13. It shall be unlawful for any person to release from capti- <br /> vity any wild or vicious animal within Chatham County. <br /> .. Section 14. Any owner as defined in this ordinance shall at all times <br /> have on site with said animals a person experienced in the handling of such ' <br /> animals. <br /> Section 1S. The permit of any permittee may be suspended or revoked by <br /> the Animal .Cont l Officer upon a finding of any one or more of the following: " <br /> a. That the permit was issued to the permittee not entitled <br /> thereto under t )i.s ordinance. <br /> b. That the permittee's enclosures do not comply with this ordi- <br /> trance. <br /> c. That one or more animals have been brought into the county or <br /> kept by the permittee without first obtaining a permit therefor. <br /> d. That the permit application contained false or misleading <br /> information. <br /> e. That the permitter does not'possess all licenses and permits <br /> required by the Mate of North Carolina and the Federal Government. <br /> The permittee shall be notified in writing of any such suspension, and <br /> shall have the right to appeal said decision to the Board of Commissioners, <br /> provided notice of same is given in writing to the County Manager within ten <br /> days of notice of such suspension or revocation. <br /> Section 16. Any person violating any provisions of this ordinance shall <br /> be guilty of a misdemeanor, <br />
