- , T. <br /> 0 <br /> ' vicious animal at the date of the adoption or this ordinance shall comply <br /> with the application and permit provisions herein within twenty (20) days of <br /> the adoption o this ordinance, and shall meet the primaary enclosure standards <br /> within twenty (20) days, and the secondary enclosure standards within sixty <br /> (6p) days. <br /> Section 1 iteporting of Escapes. At any time after the permit referred <br /> to hereinabove is issued, any wild or vicious animals are brought into the <br /> county, and any of these animals escape their confinement the following steps <br /> shall be taken by the owner to assure that the public is notified and all <br /> possible measures are taken for the protection of the public: . <br /> a. Immediately upon knowing that any wild or vicious animal <br /> is outside of the second enclosure and out of the sight of the owner, the <br /> owner shall contact the Chatham County Emergency Communications Center and <br /> give a detailed, report of how many animals are at large, what_ kind. of animals . ,.. <br /> are at large, the area where they are expected to be, any particular dangers <br /> which are created for'the public, and any precautions which the public should <br /> take to avoid harm. <br /> b. The Emergency Communications Center will then notify the <br /> neighbors who are listed on the original application, the Sheriff, and the <br /> Animal Control Officer. . <br /> Section 11 , Tranquilizing, and Annihalating Equipment Required. <br /> Each permittee shall have on hand at all times sufficient equipment and chemi- <br /> cals necessary to tranquilize any animal for which. he or she has a permit to <br /> keep. Each per <br /> 7 <br /> ittee shall have on hand at all times sufficient equipment <br /> to kill any animal for which he or she has a permit to keep. <br /> Section 12. Transport and Exhibition. No owner shall exhibit any wild <br /> . or vicious ,animal within the county or transport any such animal from one <br />
