this ordinance i and the applicant certifies th:it he has all necessary State <br /> and Federal permits, he shall promptly issue :a permit authorizing the appli- <br /> cant to locate said wild or vicious animal in Said enclosure. No wild or <br /> vicious animal shall be brought into or kept in Chatham County until after <br /> the permit cis issued. <br /> b. If the Animal Control Officer shall determine that the <br /> proposed enclos re is not reasonably or sufficiently secure to harbor or keep <br /> the wild or vicious animal applied for or that it fails to meet the specifica- <br /> tions set forth herein, he shall notify the applicant of any defects or irreg- <br /> ularities which make said enclosure insecure. The applicant may cause such <br /> defects to be r medied and request another inspection brthe Animal Control <br /> Officer. <br /> Section 6. inspections. At any time after the receipt of an applica- <br /> tion referred z hereinabove, the Animal Control Officer shall be authorized <br /> to inspect the premises at any reasonable time and shall file a written report <br /> of his findings with the County Manager on a quarterly basis. <br /> Section 7. Additional Standards. If, at any time during or after an <br /> ' inspection of the facilities by the Animal Control Officer, it is the determina- <br /> tion of the Ani. al Control Officer that the "Standards for Primary and Secondary <br /> Enclosures" are inadequate for keeping any species or individual animal of a <br /> species, the Ani`nal Control Officer shall not issue a permit and shall recom- <br /> mend to the County Manager necessary changes in ties Wards sufficient to <br /> t the public. <br /> protect th pu c <br /> Section 8. Deficiencies.
