Wild or Vicious Animal: Ail non-indigenous carnivores, <br /> primates, poiso ous snakes, or other venomous animals, elephants, and rhino- <br /> II . , , <br /> ceroses. <br /> Section 2. Primary and Secondary Enclosure Required. No person, firm <br /> or corporation hall keep, shelter, feed, harbor or take care of any wil or ,, <br /> vicious animal Ifithin Chatham County unless all such animals be confined con- <br /> tinoussly within a secure and locked primary enclosure which is situated <br /> within a secondary enclosure except while being transported. Each enclosure <br /> shall. be constructed to standards specified for keeping each type of animal <br /> as identified in Appendix A of this ordinance. <br /> Section 3. Permit Required. As a condition precedent to the keeping, <br /> sheltering or harboring of any wild or vicious animal, a prospective owner <br /> shall make written application for and receive from the Chatham County Animal <br /> Control Officer, a permit and authorization to keep any such animal . Said <br /> application shall contain at least the following: <br /> a. Name and address of prospective owner; <br /> b. Species, size and other identifying characteristics of each <br /> wild or vicious animal the applicant desires to keep; <br /> c. The birthplace of each animal and history or each animal <br /> including wheth r the animal has ever harmed any human being, including all <br /> medical history including immunizations. <br /> d. Description of the nature, size, type of construction and <br /> location of any enclosure in which the applicant intends to keep said wild or <br />
