ORDINANCE <br /> The Wilson County Board of Commissioners does hereby ordain <br /> and enact as follows: <br /> POSSESSION OF NON--DOMESTIC ANIMALS PROHIBITED <br /> 1. Except as herein provided, it shall be unlawful for any <br /> person, firm or corporation to possess or harbor any non- <br /> domestic animal or anir,als in Wilson County which are <br /> dangerous to persons or property or which have the potential <br /> of beino dangerous to persons or property. This ordinance <br /> shall not apply to bona fide circuses, petting zoos and <br /> other traveling commercial animal exhibitions of limited <br /> duration. <br /> 2. The violation of this ordinance shall be a misdemeanor and <br /> any person convicted of such violation shall be punishable <br /> as provided in G.S. 19--9. Each day's violation of this <br /> ordinance is a separate offense. In addition, enforcement <br /> of this ordinance ;=gay be by appropriate equitable remedy, <br /> injunction, or order of abatement issuing from a court of <br /> competent jurisdiction pursuant to G.S 153A-123 (d) and (e) . <br /> Adopted, this 6th day of December, 1982. <br />
