The Board of Commissioners for the County of Orange, North <br /> Carolina, met in regular session in the Courtroom in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, <br /> the regular place of meeting, at 7:30 p.m. on January 18, 1983. <br /> Present; Commissioners Lloyd, Marshall, Walker, Whitted and Willhoit. <br /> Absent: None. <br /> The Chair announced that this was the hour and day fixed by the <br /> Board of Commissioners for the Public Hearing on the Preliminary Assessment <br /> Roll filed with the Clerk to the Board of Commissioners of Orange County <br /> pursuant to the direction of the Orange County Board of Commissioners and <br /> pursuant to the Board's decision to finance the local share of the cost of paving <br /> Mace Road (S.R. 1384), in Cheeks Township, Ora'n'ge County, North Carolina. The <br /> Chair also announced that the Board of Commissioners would immediately hear <br /> anyone who might wish to be heard on the Preliminary Assessment Roll. No one <br /> appeared on the said Preliminary Assessment Roll. <br /> Thereupon, upon Motion of Commissioner Willhoit, seconded by <br /> Commissioner Marshall and carried, the Preliminary Assessment Roll for the <br /> financing by Orange County of the local share of the cost of paving Mace Road <br /> (S.R. 1384), in Cheeks Township, Orange County, North Carolina, was confirmed in <br /> toto. <br /> The vote upon confirmation of the assessment made against each <br /> property owner was: <br /> Ayes: Commissioners Lloyd, Marshall, Walker, Whitted and Wl l.hoit. <br /> Noes: None. <br /> Upon motion of Commissioner Willhoit, seconded by Commissioner <br /> Marshall and unanimously approved, the Clerk to the Board was directed to enter <br /> into the minutes of the Board the confirmation date, hour, and minutes. <br />
