Commissioner Whitted reminded
' Mr. Carter that, unlike the Town, the County does not have a road paving program.
Mr. Carter added that the 2/10 mile unpaved portion of Latimer Street is in poor
. condition and not properly maintained by the State. He asked the Commissioners
. to petition the State to pave that portion of the road at no cost to the people
. who use the road; adding that the majority of residents are on disability or fixed
. incomes.
Commissioner Ni7lhnit moved, seconded by Commissioner Walker, to petition the
, State to pave the 2/I0 mile section of Latimer Street (SR 1I82).
