Wh i tied <br /> No <br /> - Phone fir: 732-8181 ext. 510 <br /> PURPOSE: Consideration of a recommendation for the NCACC District 9 Board of <br /> Directors. <br /> NEED: The retirement of Wake County Commissioner J.T. Knott from that Board <br /> creates al vacancy in the District 9 representation on the Association's <br /> Board of irectors. <br /> The Association's Constitution Article III, Section 5, reads: <br /> Vacancies. Any vacancy in the offices of Phesident, First Vice <br /> President, Second Vice President or Third Vice President shall <br /> be filled for the unexpired term by the Board of Directors. Any <br /> vacahoy in the office of a District Director shall be filled for <br /> the unexpired term by the Board of Directors; provided, the Board <br /> shall accept the recommendation of the county officials from the <br /> district affectd. Such recommendation may be decided upon at <br /> district meetings. <br /> The Orange County Commissioners are asked to take official action <br /> tp make al recommendation .to the AsSociation,.for a County_ :ommissi.oner <br /> from District 9 to fill t ,i s vacancy;-71 asks that it- <br /> be notified of-your recommendation by letter no later than January <br /> 15, 1983.E <br /> RECOMMENDATION: As the Board decides. <br />
