Marvin Collins <br /> Phone N =: 732-8181 -- EXT. 349 <br /> PURPOSE: To receive Planning Board recommendations on proposed changes to the Zoning <br /> Ordinance. <br /> NEED: The following sections are proposed to be amended or modified: <br /> 2.1.4- Add the appeal process for Class A special. use Permits <br /> 2.3.3.4- Clarify the notice requirements for Board of Adjustment cases, <br /> 6.7- Add requirements for accessory structure setbacks in residential <br /> districts. <br /> 6.16.62- Add requirements for accessory structures to be used in home <br /> occupations on lots less than 200,000 square feet. <br /> 7.10- Clarify the restrictions on permitted uses in planned developments,. <br /> 8.4-8.5 Clarify the application procedures for special uses, <br /> Article 22 Add definitions for low, medium and high traffic counts. <br /> Proposed amendments were taken to Public Hearing on November 22, 1983. <br /> IMPACT: The proposed changes will clarify the zoning text, make review of development <br /> proposals simpler and the administration of the ordinance easier. <br /> RECOMMENDATION: The Planning Board recommendations are as follows: <br /> Section 2,1.4 - approval <br /> Section 2.3.3.4 - approval <br /> Section 6.7 denial <br /> Section 6.16.612.g) approval <br /> Section 7.10 approval <br /> Section 8.4.2, 8.4.3, 8,4.5 delay action on this section to allow <br /> staff to rewrite section <br /> Article 22 Definitions - add the words on average after the word <br /> generate in each of the definitions. <br /> The Planning Staff recommends approval. <br />
