ADDENDUM 2 <br /> JOINT PLANNING AREA LAND USE PLAN <br /> AMENDMENT PROCEDURES <br /> A. Orange County. The Orange County Board of Commissioners, with input <br /> from Chapel Hill and Carrboro, will hold public hearings on amendment <br /> proposals twice a year. In addition to the notice required by law, Chapel <br /> Hill and Carrboro, through their respective Planning staffs shall receive <br /> notice of the public hearing days prior to it and shall receive copies of <br /> all documents related to the amendment proposal with the notice. <br /> The•Booard of Commissioners will refer the amendment proposal to the <br /> Orange County Planning Board which Board shall make a recommendation to <br /> the Board of Commissioners as in the case of amendments to the Orange <br /> County Zoning Ordinance, Atlas and Land Use Plan. <br /> Action on the amendment shall occur only after the public hearing and <br /> Planning Board recommendation as provided in the Orange County Zoning <br /> Ordinance. <br /> Public Hearings for Joint Planning Area Land Use Plan and Map amendment <br /> requests shall not be held at the same time as rezoning public hearings <br /> unless the amendment has no effect on the rezoning request. <br /> B. (Reserved for Chapel Hill). <br /> C, (Reserved for Carrboro). <br />
