Commissioner Walker asked if dealers needed to register the animals. Can- <br /> 16. missioner Waitted said the only animals exempted were those used by the Univer- <br /> 17. city of North Carolina in Chapel Hill for research/teaching purposes and foxes; <br /> 18. therefore, dealers trnast register their animals which are covered. Commissioner <br /> 19. Walker said the USDA. regulated those (dealers); however, others disagreed, <br /> 20• saying the USDA was not able to do its job of regulating. <br /> 21. County Attorney GeorrL.ey Gledhill updated the Board on BB 364, Wild Cats <br /> 22. Regulated by the State. <br /> 23. 4. House Nwibering: Commissioner Walker moved to approve the recommendation; <br /> 24. Commissioner Whitted ruled the motion out of order. Planning Director Malvin, <br /> 25. Collins suggested that the Mount Camp"! Church Road community coordinate the <br /> 26. renuMbering effort with the Post Office. Be said it is immensely frustrating <br /> 27. to number houses in rural areas. <br /> 28. 5, Carrboro Water Quality Task Force Report: Commissioner Willhoit moved, <br /> 29. seconded by Carmissioner Marshall, to receive the report and to refer it to <br /> 30. the County Planning Department for recommendations on three items: 1) soil <br /> 31• and sedimentation controls: (to determine the Affect on University Lake); 2) <br /> 32. review the stars water management recaumendati.ons; and, 3) buffers along inter- <br /> 33. mittent streams and to-identify the impact. _ <br /> 34.
