r <br /> enforcement of this Ordinance by law <br /> enforcement. agencies within the jurisdiction <br /> in the areas of Craven County to which this <br /> Ordinance applies including the North <br /> Carolina Wildlife Resources Commission, <br /> provided said commission adopts a resolution <br /> accepting the duties of enforcement. <br /> 4.2 <br /> INSPECTIONS. The County Animal Control <br /> Department, County Dog Warden or the North <br /> Carolina Wildlife Resources Commission shall <br /> make inspections of the enclosure specified in <br /> this Ordinance as follows: <br /> a. Initial Inspection: An initial <br /> inspection of the enclosure specified in <br /> the Ordinance shall be made to determine <br /> that the enclosure conforms to the design <br /> and location specified in the Ordinance. <br /> b. Follow-up Inspection: The County Animal <br /> Control Department, County Dog Warden or <br /> the North Carolina Wildlife Resources <br /> Commission shall inspect the enclosure <br /> specified in the Ordinance at least once <br /> during the period January 1 through June <br /> 30 and once during the period July 1 <br /> through December of each year. No such <br /> follow-up inspections shall be required <br /> during any such 6-month period in which <br /> the initial inspection was made. <br /> 4.:3 <br /> INSPECTION FEE. Every person possessing or <br /> harboring a wild and dangerous animal, whose <br /> premises are inspected by the County Animal <br /> Control Department, County Dog Warden or the <br /> North Carolina Wildlife Resources Commission, <br /> if such charge is assessed, as provided in <br /> this Ordinance, shall pay the county a fee of <br /> $10 .00 per inspection regardless of the number <br /> of wild and dangerous animals so possessed or <br /> harbored. <br /> 4 .4 <br /> INVESTIGATIONS . The County Animal Control <br /> Department, County Dog Warden or the North <br /> Carolina Wildlife Resources Commission shall, <br /> investigate any complaints that a wild and <br /> dangerous animal is possessed or harbored in <br /> 5 <br />
