C. Division of Facility Services dated January 13, 1983; <br /> Architec 's inspection dated February 4, 1983, Assistant Manager, William T. <br /> Laws, re resenting Orange County, February 11 , 1983; and Knott and Roberts <br /> Engineers dated February 4 and 9, 1983. Of the items identified, all are <br /> finished or are in the process of being finished. The four exceptions <br /> include mirrors (6) over lavatories, mirrors (4)indormitories, view panels (5) <br /> in dormmitory'cell doors, and metal covers (2) for the enclosing of drain <br /> pipe in security areas., Change order from Architect covering these items <br /> is attac ed at a cost of $2,273. <br /> Objectiv is to be able to accept the building by April 11 . Final payment to <br /> Security Builders was made March 16, 1983. Payments to Pendergraph & Thomerson <br /> (Electri al Contractors) , Comfort Engineers (HVAC Contractor) should be ready <br /> for issu nce by the end of March. <br /> IMPACT: Occupyin the Jail as soon as possible will obviate the need for further <br /> out-of-c•unty detention ($3,426 average monthly cost) and attendant trans- <br /> portatio cost. <br /> RECOMMENDATIOH(S) <br />
