If the Housing counselor feels that the rent requested <br /> I <br /> is not in line wit similar units, the supplier will be told, and will be told what <br /> rent would be acce le by the program. If the supplier wishes to protest, he may <br /> first talk with the Unit supervisor. If the is still unsatisfied, he may request a <br /> hearing, in writing , with the Executive Director. <br /> IX. FRAUD <br /> Each program parti ipant, every participating landlord, and every Chapel Hill Housing <br /> Authority employee shall be notified in writing, at the beginning of participation, or <br /> of employment, of e practices that would consti±ute "Fraud" in the Rental Assn-stance <br /> Program. The lettir will also explain what kinds of actions will be taken, should <br /> fraudulent activities be discovered (see appendix) . <br /> When fraud is suspected, or called to the attention of the staff, the participant will <br /> be advised and asked for relevant verification.
