0 b <br /> NORTH CAROLINA <br /> December 14, 19 82 <br /> Regular Meeting <br /> Resolution <br /> ORANGE COUNTY <br /> WHEREAS on December 9, 198 2 Orange County received a written <br /> offer from John Seelye for the purchase of a dwelling house located on <br /> property owned by Orange County; and <br /> WHEREAS a copy of the offer is attached to this resolution and is <br /> a part of it; and <br /> WHEREAS Orange County, by and through its Board of <br /> Commissioners regards the offer reasonable under all of the circumstances <br /> now known; <br /> It is therefore resolved that Orange County proposes to accept the <br /> offer of John Seelye upon the following conditions: <br /> L That he deposit 596 of the dollar amount offered with the Clerk <br /> to the Board of Commissioners. <br /> 2. That the Clerk cause a notice to be published containing the <br /> terms of the offer and the fact that the offer will be accepted unless, within <br /> ten (10) days of the date of publication, an upset bid is filed with the Clerk <br /> to the Board offering at least 10% more money for the dwelling and offering <br /> to meet each of the other conditions in the offer made by Mr. Seelye. <br /> Commissioner Marshall moved the adoption of the foregoing <br /> resolution. Commissioner Willhoit seconded the motion. <br /> Ayes: Commissioners Lloyd, Marshall, Walker, Whitted, Willhoit. <br /> Noes: - <br />
