In March, 1982 the Board held a work session to review the Water Task Force Report. Following this review, the Board modified the moratorium to allow subdivisions where the smallest parcel created was at least five acres since the Report was not recommending minimum lot sizes greater than this for any watershed area. On April 5, 1982 the Board further modified the moratorium to allow minor subdivisions (four lots or less) to be created in protected watershed areas. On July 6, 1952, the Board approved zoning amendments that imple- mented a number of recommendations in the Water Task Force Report. On August 23, 1982 the Board considered and adopted most of the reMaining watershed policy recommendations in the Report. The major recommendations on watershed policy and implemention regu- lations are now in place. LTC : If it was intended that the moratorium end after the Board's action on July 6, 1982, this was not clear to the Planning Staff. The Board might take official action to lift the moratorium. RECOMMENDATION: As the Board decides.
