I <br /> 1 <br /> 2. The Agency shall provide ABC law enforcement within the county of <br /> ORANGE, NORTH CAROLINA • , and it shall report at least monthly <br /> to the ABC Board on its ABC law enforcement activities. <br /> 3. The Agency shall be solely responsible for hiring, equiping and <br /> supervising the officer or officers who are charged with the duty of enforcing the <br /> ABC laws, and the Agency agrees to indemnify, and hold harmless, the ABC Board for <br /> i <br /> any liability arising from the activities of said officers. (Including assuming <br /> all liability for eny and all accidents and civil liability involving Orange County <br /> ABC vehicles, and Will provide liability insurance for said vehicles). <br /> 1 <br /> 4. The Agi cy shall give priority to specific requests from the ABC Board <br /> for assistance in such matters as ABC' store security, protection of ABC store <br /> deposits, and the 'Iinvestigation of internal and external theft. <br /> 5. This contract shall continue in effect until such time as either party <br /> desires to cancel the contract and gives notice of cancellation as set forth below. <br /> (See Exhibit "A" atached hereto and made a part of this Agreement) . <br /> 6.. This contract may be cancelled by either party upon 30 days notice to <br /> the other party, which notice shall be given in writing. <br /> 7. That upon proper termination of this Agreement, the Sheriff will return <br /> to the ABC Board any equipment transferred to him or purchased by him for his Agency <br /> with funds furnished by the ABC Board, pursuant to this Agreement in good order, <br /> save and except normal wear and tear.
