The ABC Board further and in addition to the funds to be paid herein agrees to replace the existing cars (vehicles) owned by it (See Exhibit "B" attached) with two new cars (vehicles) every three (3) years or when needed. 2. 1 The Sheriff shall provide ABC law enforcement within Orange 1 County and shall report at least monthly to the ABC Board on ABC law enforcement itetivities. The law enforcement program to be provided is detailed in Exhibit "Ai' attached. 3.1 The Sheriff shall be solely responsible for hiring, equipping and supervising ttie officer or officers who are charged with the duty of enforcing the ABC lairs, and the Sheriff agrees to indemnify, and hold harmless, to the extent of insurance coverage provided by the Agency, the ABC Board for any liability arising from the activities of said officers. (Including indemnification for liability for accidents and civil liability involving Orange County ABC vehicles, to the extent oflinsurance coverage provided by the Agency). 4. The Sheriff shall give priority to specific requests from the ABC Board for as1istance in such matters as ABC store security, protection of ABC store deposits', and the investigation of internal and external theft. 1 5. This contract shall continue in effect until such time as any party desires to cancel the contract and gives 30 days written notice of cancellation to 1 each other party. (See Exhibit "A" attached.) 8. That upon the proper termination of this Agreement, the Sheriff and the Age*, will return to the ABC Board any equipment transferred pursuant to this contrict in good order, save and except normal wear and tear. (See Exhibit "B" attached.) This contract shall be effective the first day of January, 1983 and unless sooner terminated or extended shall terminate the 30th day of June, 1983. 1
